Jen Morrisett has taught English Language Arts at the Fort Yukon School for nine and a half years.She coaches Battle of the Books, and in 2016-17 the middle school team earned 8th place at state. Also in 2018, the students earned first place rank for Vocabulary.com for the state of Alaska. Jen has been emcee for spelling bees and graduation ceremonies. She coached girls’ basketball one year and chaperones many school trips. She also enjoys taking students out cross-country skiing in the springtime. Jen loves teaching, reading, creative writing and yoga. But she loves her twins, Emmy and Will even more.
